whats the difference between interval & cardiovascular?
how does this compare with the al sears pace program? I am doing rope work, 30-40 seconds intense, a couple minutes rest for about five or six times, then later that same day, I do weight training, any help or advice would be great, thanks

u should do abs more often like 2 times a day or 1 time really hard every other day or every day if u want , every day is better because abs are small muscles so they dont need 2 rest much and use weights when u do abs that helps but try 2 run and u will lose that big stomach trust me

u should do cardio at a specific heartrating like if train abdominals while u have a belly the muscles will be under the fat layer and u wont see em

just a tip which you might already know, its better to do either a full body workout, or work the same muscle groups in one workout like biceps and back usually go together, not triceps and back. it will help you so you dont overtrain. i lift 3 times a week full body workout and 3 days of aerobic training
also!!!!! if you do it consitantly it raises your resting metabolism rate like smoking does so your body burns fat and calories a hell of a lot quicker.
then do interval training. You don’t burn as much fat while doing the actual excercise BUT it causes your metabolism to sky rocket after so you burn fat while your watching to tv, sleeping, etc. you burn off way more in the long and also because of the intensity of interval training you actuall build muscle. It also lowers your resting heart rate significantly. By the way if you really want to lose weight try to eat as little bread as possible, still get some carbs in but watch your white bread.

Please, i do not want to loose any of my bulk/muscle, just my stomach fat, i really do have a big stomach now
ok can anyone help me, i train at the gym 4 times a week, but do abs at home. I have bulked consiserably over the last year. I do not do any cardio in my work
out because i am a ectormorph and alot of people said that cardio kills bulk etc etc. However i have alot of stomach fat now after a year of bodybuilding!!!
How could i loose that?
1. eating les calories? but keeping the same amount of protein

when i do my training i try and make it as intense as possible. i start with a slow jog on the treadmill to warm-up.
then 3 minutes sprinting at 16kmh, then down to 10.5kmh for 2 minutes, back to 16kmh for 3, back to 10.5kmh for 2, back to 16kmh to finish, then cooldown with walking speed.
i use the bike aswell, but i prefer the treadmill.
it works for me though, keeps me fit enough for the royal navy anyway!
